This policy explains how Jay Teo Property, operated by Teo Jian Yong (Jay Teo), collects and handles personal information submitted through this website or its linked communication channels.

Information we collect

We may collect your name, telephone number, email address, property preferences, budget, preferred location and other information you voluntarily provide in an enquiry.

WhatsApp enquiries

The Atera enquiry form prepares a WhatsApp message containing your selected property preferences. It does not save an enquiry in a website database. You choose whether to send the draft in WhatsApp; your WhatsApp profile, phone number and message are then shared with Jay Teo. WhatsApp is a third-party service governed by its own privacy policy. Enquiry correspondence may be retained in WhatsApp and business records for the purposes described here. Do not include identity documents or banking information in an initial enquiry.

How we use it

Your information is used to respond to enquiries, recommend or compare relevant properties, arrange viewings, provide transaction support and communicate updates you have requested. We do not sell your personal information.

Sharing and service providers

Where necessary to assist with your enquiry or transaction, information may be shared with IQI Realty Sdn Bhd, relevant developers, appointed solicitors, bankers or other professional service providers. We limit sharing to what is reasonably required.

Advertising measurement

The Atera page uses Google Tag Manager and Google Ads conversion tracking to measure visits from advertisements and clicks on WhatsApp enquiry links. Google may receive page and device information, advertising click identifiers and cookie identifiers to attribute these interactions to advertisements. A button click is measured separately from whether you send a message or become a customer. We do not send your WhatsApp message content or information entered in an enquiry form to Google through these tags. Retention and security

Reasonable administrative and technical measures are used to protect personal information. Information is retained only for as long as required for the stated purpose, legitimate business records or applicable legal obligations.

Your choices

You may request access, correction or deletion of your personal information, or ask us to stop marketing communications, subject to applicable law and record-keeping requirements.
